Rebranding for the Future

Hotel Rebrand, Le host Branded Menus on a bar

The Stone House Hotel is a well-regarded hotel located in Stone, Staffordshire, England. Our charming hotel is set in a historic building and offers a blend of modern amenities with classic British character. It’s a popular venue for both leisure and business stays, thanks to its convenient location and range of services.

Over the past 12 months, we have made significant investments in our facilities and amenities, supported by our dedicated team. As part of our commitment to growth, we embarked on a comprehensive hotel rebrand to reflect our evolving identity while staying true to our heritage. Our goal was to create a brand that honours our past yet embraces a contemporary vision, ensuring The Stone House Hotel remains a destination of choice for years to come.

As the hotel is such an iconic and historical building we wanted to use a colour palette that uses predominately heritage colours but with a nod to more contemporary tones.

Having had an extensive refurbishment recently we wanted to create an inviting, fresh yet elegant aesthetic to the branding assets. It was very important to us to portray that the hotel is both stylish whilst also having a very traditional and historic ambience.

The logo and brand identity was created with the use of a symmetrical pattern to symbolise an Indian flower. The overall logo symbolises hospitality through the warm inviting colours of the deep heritage green and the rich opulent yellow evoking a sense of luxury and elegance. Blending modern, minimalist design whilst balancing contemporary and traditional influences. The font chosen for the new identity is Quincy, a modern sans-serif typeface known for its clean, geometric lines. This font blends contemporary minimalism with slightly rounded edges, offering a friendly, approachable feel. The logo and icon reflects harmony and evokes a feeling of warmth, nostalgia, and serenity creating an emotional appeal that visitors can connect to when they think of their stay.

A key element of this hotel rebrand was collaborating with a local agency that truly understands and appreciates the unique qualities of The Stone House Hotel:

Our hotel is housed in a grand, traditional building that has been a cherished part of the local community for many years. It provides a picturesque and tranquil setting, complete with curated gardens for guests to relax and enjoy.

Our accommodation caters to diverse guest needs, offering everything from standard rooms to premium suites. Each room is thoughtfully designed for maximum comfort and relaxation, featuring classic décor, and in many cases, stunning views of the surrounding gardens or countryside.

Dining at The Stone House Hotel is an exceptional experience. Our on-site restaurant serves a delicious selection of British and continental dishes, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We are also proud to host the award-winning Saffron Restaurant, renowned for its authentic Asian cuisine.

Events and Weddings are at the heart of our offerings. The Stone House Hotel has built a strong reputation as a premier venue for weddings, conferences, and special occasions. With scenic grounds and versatile event spaces, we provide an unforgettable setting for couples and event planners alike.

Our prime location makes us an ideal choice for national, international, and local visitors. The charming market town of Stone is well-connected to larger cities like Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford, offering a peaceful retreat while providing easy access to nearby attractions such as Alton Towers, Trentham Gardens, and the Trent & Mersey Canal.

Through this hotel rebrand, we have revitalised The Stone House Hotel, ensuring it remains a distinguished and inviting destination. We look forward to welcoming guests—both new and returning—to experience our refreshed identity and enhanced offerings.
